The Pool Is Open!
The pool opened right on time this year, and if you haven’t been there yet, you’re in for a treat! The pool has a magical new color this year – making the water warmer and more inviting than ever. We’ve also modernized the pool house and bathrooms.
As always, pool memberships are strictly for all residents in good standing. Please pick up your copy of the pool rules and pool hours at the office, and keep in mind guest passes can be purchased in the office only. Lifeguards aren’t able to issue memberships or daily passes. See you at the pool!
New Light Poles and Balconies
Our newest improvements include balconies and new light poles. Light poles are already installed by G building and also wrapping around F building. We will continue installing light poles along the Bryn Mawr Avenue side, finishing at A building, and then we will begin the Landover side. The balconies are installed at G building and currently we are working on A building. I think you will agree the balconies look amazing!
More improvements will be forthcoming. Have any ideas? Drop us a note. We love hearing your feedback.
Movie Night
Join us for Movie Night June 18th at dusk on the front lawn. Bring your popcorn and candy. The movie has not yet been determined, so contact the office or check Facebook for more information.
School’s Out For Summer!
The last day of school will be June 17th. Our children have worked hard all year and are anxious to start their summer vacations. Although you’ll find our children mostly in the playground and grassy areas, be sure to watch for small people in between cars and in the driveways. Let’s keep our young ones safe this summer!
Wild Life
One of our greatest assets is that we are surrounded by trees and wildlife. In order for us to live in harmony with nature, we must let nature tend to itself, so please do not feed the animals. Bird feeders are not permitted, and all trash MUST be kept in trash cans with lids. Thanks for your help!
Community Grills
Want to grill? You’re in luck! The community grills are located throughout the property. Remember that grills are not permitted on balconies or patios, so feel free to use ours. Please keep the following in mind while grilling:
- Grills may be used by residents only
- Residents must be over the age of 18 to use the grills
- No alcohol or glass near the grill
- Use of radios or other audio/video devices without personal headphones is prohibited
- Residents must stay with the grill while it’s heating up and while you are cooking
- Water must be available at all times to extinguish uncontrolled flames
- Douse charcoal with water to ensure fire is completely extinguished before leaving the area
- Clean the grill top before leaving
